Hey there,
Cora believes deeply in the transformative power of being seen, known, and understood. She knows that having a seat at the table and the space to share one’s story can be a catalyst for meaningful change. To Cora, suffering does not have the final word. She is passionate about helping clients release feelings of shame, isolation, and being “stuck,” offering a therapeutic space that is safe, open, and grounded in trust.
Client-focused and empathetic, Cora immerses herself in her clients' inner worlds with the belief that each individual holds the potential and resources to flourish. She takes a collaborative, person-centered, and flexible approach, often drawing on imagination and creativity to promote holistic healing, empowerment, and hope.
Cora integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities into her work, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, play therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing. She specializes in working with anxiety, depression, relational issues, identity development, childhood trauma, spirituality, gender, sexuality, family of origin concerns, and life transitions.
Cora is currently earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, with graduation expected in December 2026. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hope College and is supervised by Freddy Tung, Psy.D. Outside the therapy room, Cora enjoys reading, listening to comedy podcasts, knitting, discovering new coffee shops, and biking to the lake.
