Hey there,

Mandi is a graduate intern earning a Masters in Clinical Mental Health, specializing in child and adolescent counseling. She knows first hand that life contains some very tricky seasons. It is her honor and joy to come alongside individuals in their journey through these challenges, holding space for them exactly as they are in that moment. She believes that transitions, grief, and stuck places must first be witnessed and held before they can be moved through and eventually transformed. She aligns deeply with a person-centered approach, believing that individuals have the innate ability to heal and grow when they are in a supportive environment-one defined by acceptance, warmth, empathy and understanding.

She draws on her dearth of life experience combined with training in person-centered theory, play therapy, motivational interviewing, and somatic attachment therapy to provide a safe and healing space for individuals of all ages.  Mandi enjoys working with children and supporting their unique development with attunement and play. She has an interest in working with persons who struggle with a codependent bent as they find their voice and healthy edges. She is interested in supporting individuals through life transitions such as loss, relocation, birth, grief, betrayal, aging, adolescence, divorce, relationships, and parenting. Whatever the reason that brings a client in for counseling, it is Mandi’s hope that they leave as a more whole and authentic version of themselves.

Mandi spends her free time hanging out with her kids, friends, and partner. She appreciates a good coffee paired with sourdough toast, and thinks a day at the beach is the best kind of self-care.

She is supervised by Alexandra Colangelo, LCPC, NCC and plans to graduate Cappella University in December 2026.
